Friends of the Library
Mission of the Friends of the Library
The purpose of the Friends of the Glenwood City Public Library is to:
- Increasing public awareness of the library’s resources and services and encouraging the community to support the library.
- Helping to promote the library through special events
- Raising funds to help the library purchase new materials and equipment
- Apply for grants for various library services and programs
- Volunteering to work at cultural events and library programs
- Assisting the library staff with routing library tasks.
