Friends of the Library

Mission of the Friends of the Library

The purpose of the Friends of the Glenwood City Public Library is to:

1. Increasing public awareness of the library’s resources and services and encouraging the community to support the library.
2. Helping to promote the library through special events
3. Raising funds to help the library purchase new materials and equipment
4. Apply for grants for various library services and programs
5. Volunteering to work at cultural events and library programs
6. Assisting the library staff with routing library tasks.
